Foggy Nights: 2024 URT SPOOK Recap

This last Sunday we celebrated Halloween a bit early with the URT SPOOK!  Surfers of all ages gathered on the shores of Gator Beach in Coronado dressed in their best and spookiest costumes.  The foggy weather set the mood as the the surfers headed out for some moderate yet fun surf conditions.

This year we partnered with local surf shop Emerald City and handed out candy, stickers, and some "semi-permanent" tattoos.  We also gave out some awesome prizes to the best dressed surfers (with help from Emerald City).  Some of our favorites were Batman, Beetlejuice, pirates, chefs, and a sweet little lobster.  We were also stoked to have the sand castle crew to build us yet another incredible masterpiece!

We were excited to have such a great turn out for this year's event and thank everyone who made it happen.  Praying the water stays clear of the brown trout for our next surfing event in December, the Santa Surf Off!
