Zach Bolster was a tactical communicator for Naval Special Warfare Development Group. His primary duties were to provide communications between the assault force and higher headquarters. His role was the life line of his troop and ensured they were able to communicate both in the field and back to their main base. He provided air assets with coordinates for CASEVAC and Close Air Support as well as updating senior leadership on battlefield developments. His efforts were vital in multiple high value target operations and personnel recovery efforts.
Zach strived to live life to its fullest. He grew up in Cedar City, Utah. He was always seeking for adventure and making the most of his life. He loved snowboarding, surfing, dirt biking, parachuting, scuba diving, and other thrilling activities. At 18 years old he decided to serve his country and joined the United States Navy. He found joy in his decorated and distinguished service in the Navy, he served with the Naval Special Warfare Development Group taking part in incredible missions and faithfully carrying out his duties. He was intelligent and well accomplished in his education. He attended esteemed schools, receiving his bachelor's degree from Penn State University, and was actively pursuing his master's degree in Cybersecurity at Brown University, an Ivy League institution. He was already an adept professional in this industry working as the Division Manager of Cybersecurity Operations.

He was fearless. Always viewing a challenge as an opportunity to grow and experience something new. But he didn't take himself too seriously. He could often be seen in his signature crocs, with his t-shirt depicting a dinosaur pouring a drink out saying: "One for the homies." He loved life and loved those who were a part of his.

He was a devoted operator, son, brother, and friend. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
