There's something in the water.
This year's URT WOMP Bodysurfing Comp has been cancelled for the 2nd year in a row due to the obscene amount of sewage in the water.
The ocean in our hometown of Coronado and Imperial Beach has been contaminated with sewage from Tijuana for far too long. Each day millions of gallons flow through the Tijuana River and into the Pacific Ocean. As a result, 10 miles of coastline have been pockmarked with "Contaminated Water Do Not Enter" signs for years.
The time has come for us to shine a light on this shituation. We teamed up with our good friends at our local surf shop, Emerald City, to come up with a design that showcases our frustration.
BEWARE THE BROWN TROUT.
