The Garibaldi is the California state fish and is a protected species....and it knows it. The way it swims at you defiantly, with that orange lush feeling itself in front of your spear tip, almost daring you to pull the trigger on the speargun, is more than infuriating. But they know if you do a big fine from Fish & Wildlife will be waiting for you on the shore.
