On May 2nd 2011, we woke to the news of the Afghan terrorist leader Usama Bin Laden meeting his maker at the hands of an elite group of Navy SEALs in Pakistan. We decided to make a shirt that reflected this moment, which is why we put the UBL compound on the inside of the shirt. We printed out 100 shirts (which was a huge amount for us at the time) and passed them out for free to all the Navy SEALs that we ran across on the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, CA, in an effort to say thanks.
This shirt will always represent a thank you to the military, both past and present, for the sacrifices you make to protect our freedoms.
